    Plantronics Backbeat Sense Review

Wireless headphones as well as the on-ear variety have become common nowadays but what is quite clear is that what one may term a good design and good sound varies depending on the tastes and preferences of various individuals and that is where finding the best kind of headphones with reference to these aspects becomes a challenge. Let’s get to the Plantronics Backbeat Sense headphones Review.

Other headphone varieties might have taken the market by storm already but this is not the case with plantronics that has had a rather slow penetration into the same environment.

But what makes the Plantronics Backbeat Sense headphones special is that they are nimble and can be used for long spells, are Bluetooth enabled, light and wireless in nature.

    Plantronics Backbeat Sense Review: Packaging

As you open the box to get the headphones out, the box slides out and opens from the bottom, just the same way you open a jewelry box. A manual has been provided giving details on how the controls on the earcups are used and how to go about the Bluetooth pairing process. The headphones come in a black wrapping and there is a fabric case underneath the wrapping that has two compartments. The headphones fit in one while cables are held in the other.
Other inclusions in the package are a micro-USB cable meant for the headphones charging needs, a 3.5mm headphone cable that is angled with a microphone and in-line remote.

    Design and Features

The letters “L” and “R” can be identified easily on the perforations within the earcups to act as a guide for the user. For the color, there are only two options available and these are white or black with a brown headband and ear cushions. The right earcup hosts various functional applications such as the Bluetooth and power buttons that are on top, the micro-USB and jack charging port are located at the bottom, a battery level indicator is available, as well as the main function button that allows you to receive or terminate calls.
On the left earcup there is a red button that mutes the audio to engage the microphone; playback controls are also available, as well as the volume adjuster on the outer ring.

    Sound Quality and Battery Life

In this Plantronics Backbeat Sense Review we found the bass is not too deep but is well balanced, tight and musical but as you increase the volume, the intensity of the bass increases. However, it is important to mention at this point that increasing the volume will cause a distortion on the sound. Plantronics Backbeat Sense headphones are okay with any music genre, which is what any quality headphones should be. The battery on these headphones can run for 18 hours straight on moderate volume and slightly over 15 hours if they are used continuously on high volume.

Summary For headphones of this kind, the price is quite reasonable but for users who prefer a heavy thump, these might not work best for you. These headphones treat every music genre the same and this is a plus for those looking for quality, crisp sound that is clear and well balanced.
